Obituary of Kathryn Garvens

Kathryn Garvens, age 81, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2024. She was the cherished daughter of Joseph and Otillie Muehleck (nee Bopp) and devoted wife of the late Joris Garvens.

Kathryn was a beacon of love and warmth in the lives of all who knew her. She found joy in spending time with her two beloved sons, Jory and Todd, Kathryn's passion for the outdoors, particularly flowers, brought her endless happiness, as did her talent for cooking delicious meals.

Deeply committed to her faith, Kathryn was actively involved in her church community, where she generously dedicated her time to helping with funeral luncheons and other charitable endeavors.

Kathryn leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her sons, Jory, and Todd, family and friends, grandchildren, Alexandria and Mason, sister, Sister Barbara Muehleck, brother-in-law Tom, and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joris, her parents Joseph and Otillie, and sisters Anita (Bob) and Betty.

A visitation to honor Kathryn's life will be held on Monday, May 6, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until the start of services at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Calvary, 1941 Madison St, Waukesha, WI 53188.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are appreciated to the family.
